Ahhh I love watching vids of all these famous successful american drivers. Such as Prost, Senna, Schumacher, Villeneuve, Raikkonnen, Hakkinen even Kaz Nakajima is really american. Ok ok wishful thinking but it's been SOOO long since Mario.

a shame his wish of being a back to back didnt come true but 5 stars i agree with you with the fuji weather. with the raikonnen thing i used to like raikonnen, when he was driving for mcclaren. he would be making a wise choice if he leaves ferrari and f1 in 2009

Raikkonen has often been compared to James Hunt. let's hope Raikkonen hasnt retired by the time we get to Fuji this year. and let's hope there's another monsoon on the Sunday.

1976: the most spectacular F1 season of all times.

Yes, great video. Hunt wouldn't have won the title without Lauda's accident at the Nuerburgring, still he was a great guy and a great driver.
Lauda was very brave as well in admitting having quitted the Fuji race out of fear!

It wasn't that dream,he had a lot of troubles due to his unregolated lifestyle and he lost all the money in a night club.
James Hunt.
Should be in the dictionary for living life to the absolute max.
Died in the early 90's i think. cause of death. To much Sex, racing, sex, drugs, sex, drinking, sex, and god knows what else.
RIP man, you lived life in a way every other man on the planet can only dream of.

Lauda had a tough year and he would have won the championship without the crash. And when you look at his recover, than you'll see that he truly was the morale champion.
