Thank you for the kind words

I've only worked on parts of So Long Michael. It gets very difficult once you get into the meat of the song IMO. Silent Passenger was my absolute favorite song on the Intuite disc and so I didn't get as frustrated playing it over and over again. That helps.

Oh man -- Yes. I practiced this and nothing else for months and this is one of 5 takes of the song I did in front of a camera. There is always one part that gets screwed up.

very good

I am very impressed with your playing. You are young and will someday easily keep up with PB's playing.

thanks for sharing this. i think it's quite good. pierre is a genius,...beyond genius; otherworldly. this piece is especially captivating, and you represent it well. keep up the good work!
You should play that for every female that even remotely walks near you. you will need a stick to chase them off! (lol) tell them "I was thinking of you and this song came to my head" (lol)

I'm working on this right now too, and it's like building a wall, one row of bricks at a time. My only observation -- besides that you're less than half my age, with maybe 1/10 my playing years and yet you are already HERE, at this song! -- is that you could easily slow down just a little and savor the song, and while savoring, you will buy yourself time to clean up some passages. You'll get there before I will, my friend. And you deserve a nice fingerstyle guitar!

Well said! I actually think that part of it is the video encoding that is speeding up what I was playing. I really tried to slow down a little bit, but this seems about 6-7bpm faster than what I played. Either way, good advice. Slowing down helps so much while practicing, but can be very hard to do when you're anxious to play the whole thing.
