A southern spy in a blue dress infiltrates the Yankee encampment at the Battle of Spokane Falls Civil War Re-enactment on Memorial Day Weekend, May 2010. Performed by the Washington Civil War Association (http://www.wcva.net) at Riverside State Park, Spokane, WA. Much "intrigue" goes on inside the sprawling Confederate and Union camps. There's much more than just the big battles (which are great). This performance is entirely impromptu and ad lib as it happened. Battle re-enactment videos are yet to be edited and posted! Watch this channel for future updates!

  • Yes, the WCWA group has a lot of behind the scenes "acts" going on throughout the camps. Last year, one of the young Union soldiers ran off with a Southern gal; when they caught him, they decided he should just be shot. The next day, a Southerner again tried to infiltrate the Union camp but she was discovered and thrown out. I've got parts of those on video, and lots more from 2011, but just have been too busy to edit them together.

  • Haha. Do they always do acts like this at reenactments? That group, I mean?

  • Must be from Washington State Civil War Group, eh!
