Abandoned Moment

This recaptures one of the most touching moments in the Rurouni Kenshin series, when Tomoe visits Kenshin fifteen years after her death. This uses manga pictures only, and I think it came out beautifully. The final lines at the end, "Goodbye, my lover... until we meet again..." are from a song I wrote to the two of them. I hope you love this video. It took forever to make.

Aaaaah, I really like this scene, and especially how you portrayed it. The dialogue really stands out, not to mention the special bond that they have and Tomoe's continuing effect on Kenshin. :)

Semi-spoiler/Slightly OT: How did this end in the manga? Was it with her telling him to go the person who needs his smile the most?

SPOILER: He stays in a fallen village having flashbacks of past events all leading up to Kaoru's death and then Tsubame runs in begging him to go help Yahiko who is losing a fight with a large guy. He hurries to Yahiko, collapsing from exhaustion once the man is beaten. While asleep, he dreams that he's still in the village and Tomoe visits. This scene takes place, and then she tells him that the person needing his smile the most is still alive and waiting and to wake up and go to her.
