Hey, it had Ian Somerhalder in it... so in my opinion it was brilliant... lmfao!!! No actually i thought it was pretty decent... I've seen much worse!!! Like Waz for instance - that totally sucked balls man!!!

As far as Asian horror film rip-offs go, this was pretty good. It has some good scares.

I think the original was all over better, but the remake looked a lot better. Artistically, such as lighting and the music was superior. But the pacing.. lack of really substance and story... poor acting and a cheesy ending really turned this movie into possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. The original wasn't that great either. I've seen MUCH better asian horror films. I think Japanese horror can be overrated too. South Korean horror is much better.

This movie is permanently on #1 of the top 6 worst horror movies I have EVER seen in my life :)

i love it

I really liked the Japanese version, but they can't even make this movie look good in the trailer. Seriously, it seems like they took themes and objects from the original (ghost, red tape, internet) sucked every bit of subtlety out of the movie, and adlibbed the rest.
