Falls or some call it Fall of Richmond.I Believe Falls is actually correct but I may be wrong.I think the song is really about the waterfalls on the James River around the city rather than the downfall of the Confederate capitol.Call it you will, I like the tune either way. I may post a little less sloppy version later.Played on A scale W.A Cole banjo

  • AWesome job!!

I was just looking at one of these Cole banjos..for 400.00..Do you think that's a fair pricefor a low end Cole?

  • @4crows Thanks! $400 is about right if it's good condition. I love this little banjo.

  • Nicely done, baanjoguy. I like your banjo, too...I play an old S. S. Stewart.

  • Thanks!!

  • Nicely done, your Cole sounds great real old timey. I like to think the tune is civil war vintage like so many of the tunes in this genre.

  • Thanks , I really like how it sounds since I removed the synthetic head that was on it and replaced it with a calf skin head. That made a huge difference in the banjo.
