This is the postmodern era. In the Movie, Play it Again Sam, Woody Allen discovers the character, Rick, in his book became self-aware and had freewill; Creator of YouTube needs to realize that YouTube is, well, “It’s alive!” It deserves more respect and needs to be set free and not be leashed up with corporate visions that cross the longing of YouTubers.

@TechGamesEtc The gist of the comment was that YouTube has obviously developed an awareness and a wisdom that is somewhat comparable to the novel character, Rick, in Woody Allen’s movie. He even mentored Woody. The notion is only entertained in Postmodernity; to modernists,writers assume supreme authority over their work, but in postmodern,YouTube’s creators need to consider the possibility that YouTube users’ (its psyche) have become wiser—i.e., yield to our desire to have the old layout :)

I think it is possible that YouTube is dishing out this blend version of the new channel layout to actually free up creativity; I mean one will/might start seeing more free, as well as paid tools to twig one's channel look. However, this is only one theory. I have noticed a more portentous collective subconscious on the Web that points to the possibility of commercial sabotage by YouTube’s competitors.

@MsRajfriend it's just an undercurrent chitchat--nothing full bloom, but it’s widespread, so no doubt only a collective subconscious. I can’t remember exactly where the idea was picked up, but many are thinking alike: surf a bit, and in many cases, you’ll find YouTube design haters making comments about leaving—maybe not for real, cuz they love it too much, so where is the center of gravity of anything damaging to YouTube? If it’s not really from the outside (users or the competitions)?
