  • whats the difference between an emotional empath and a codependent?? they sound the same!!

  • @patriciamalone1 empaths are wired in a way to be an emotional sponge. codependents don't necessarily have this; rather they are fixated on others at the detriment of themselves See Emotional Freedom, lotz on this topic!

  • Dr. Orloff, I love your talks about HSP etc. In the other videos you look so natural and great. What did the make-up artist think of, OMG why did you agree to this horrible artificial look. Anyway the context is more important than the surface. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

  • wow thank , now i feel normal.

  • @broncotwerp ditto on that!

  • This is scary, it's all me..

  • i saw your episode on borderllines. and was extremely disappointed that i could not comment there. so i found another spot that i could. i am an empath among other things. I am also borderline. Aside from times of severe stress it is under control. i am learning to see in grays. It is a real shame that you classify all of us with bpd in the same catagory though. It is no wonder that there are so few available to help with those of us with bpd. i believe your vid is partially the cause.

  • @acidstars9 No mention of the other personality types; gusher, rock (strong and silent type) and thinker/intellectual type. It's OK to be moderately empath but not extreme otherwise you become a highly sensitive person and it restricts your lifestyle a bit.

  • @lemsip How is it not a good thing? And what does being an empath have to do with naivety and perfectionism? I don't see how it has anything to do with that. What do you have against empaths anyway?

  • @acidstars9 Because many people especially women like to see themselves as empaths as if this is a good thing. It's not just empaths that attract narcissists but all sorts of people. Labelling yourself as an empath is just an excuse for naivety and perfectionism.

  • Why aren't there videos on the other emotional types? They all seem to be about empaths...

  • Excellent!
