Due to the ammount of Views of my engine running in a tank i decided to put one on of it running on the boat and im happy to say that it runs really nice and with the standard prop it can do 35Mph wich i think is very good.
Also it is not running verry well at low rpm on this video because i could not be bother to clean the plugs because they were covered in oil from running it in.

  • The engine is tillted to low, you could get 3-4 mph more by tillting the engine up ;)

  • @xayl2k i like to keep it low on rivers as it does not throw the dogs to the back of the boat

  • They don't make these models anymore. Or they don't sell them in Europe. Because new environmental laws don't permit the pollution of these carburated engines, only newer direct injection ones are allowed. I suspect the ones in this video to be 2006-2007 model.

  • @NorwegianCrows Correct, shame really as I don’t much care for the new engines although they are getting lighter also it took me ages to find this one new almost 2 year ago now.

  • Its a Seadog! :)

  • @NorwegianCrows the last models tha came to europe was the 2006 model...i was lucky because i took the 18hp 2 stroke and my father the 30hp both they are for use in inflatable boats....they are very good....it's a pity they stopped selling them....they were the last in greece we bought...

  • @Hansisimpson14 so you have it trimmed higher now

  • @thebigmann25 thats right :D ive done it myself on my boat , it goes better 2 ;)

  • tilt the motor up maybe even two notches and i know how people say get in the front and it will plane better well actually trim it up and once you are on a plane try sitting as far back as you can. this will get more of the boat out of the water which means less drag. i got three more mph on my inflatable by doing that

  • Wear your dead man.
