Here is a video about one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the Vancouver Canada area.

Sushi Town
5935 Hastings Street
Burnaby, BC V5B 1R7
(604) 294-6155

I open the video with a high speed walk from my car into the restaurant, and then show the following dishes/items:

Green tea
Soya Sauce (Shoyu)
Miso soup (nice and comforting)
Ebi Sunomono Salad (Japanese shrimp salad)
Spicy Tuna Sashimi (quite a large portion!)
Red Roll (chopped scallop and spicy tuna)
Rainbow Roll
Chopped scallop Roll
Futomaki

Hope you enjoy.

Check out my restaurant review which will be soon posted at:

The music for this video is an original song I wrote and performed on the piano called "I Spy". You can watch me perform this song in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd7TV0oRsc8 or download the MP3 (free) from http://www.gpeters.com/tracks/youtube2/

Take care!

  • how much is a dinner for 2 in euro's ? ... talking about sushi/sashimi and such.

    thnx

  • Depending on how hungry you are, it is around $30 CAD which is about 20 euros. Sushi town is one of the more affordable places, as it's in the suburbs. Downtown prices are more like $40 CAD for two. cheers,Geoff

  • very nice job on the piano, keep writing the music sounds great

  • thank you!! :)

  • the spicy tuna is the best shit ever

  • I love sushi town

    or used to anyway

  • in my town there is no such as a spacial sushi restaurant...only a small place in the town mall up in the food court where its expensive so i do my own sushi until one will open..(PS i live in Romania Timisoara)

  • @greensss333 yup this one is owned by Koreans.

  • @janoyish it's one of the better ones that they have in Vancouver. At least you don't have to worry about getting flukes here. (laughs)

  • @4649hide

even though it is not entirely the traditional Japanese sushi bar, it is not like how you describe it as "dirty" or "sickening". Please watch how you say about something that you didn't experience. Vancouver is a very different place compared to Japan, and you have to get used to the food you have here.

  • @greensss333

most Japanese restaurants in Lower Mainland are run by Chinese I think...

only one in Richmond and some in Downtown are Japanese owner...and will be very expensive!

those All you can eat is owned by Chinese for sure!

  • ): all that sushi and so so far away from me!!

  • terrible…it looks very bad.

    this is not japanese food.

  • cheap, but not a lot of choices. very bland
