Try some Gabriel Faure. "Chanson d'amour" and "le Papillon et la fleur" Barbara Bonney is good!

  • Sublime! Also, I really like the tempo Jessye takes this at - many artists sing this too quickly for my tastes.

  • Price was the most exceptional singer .Really something and it seems Fleming and Norman have become even more perfect. There seems to be no lit that Norman wont sing except for the colaratura showpiecesBelliniDonizz .I really dont need early 19 th cent vocal music except for Berlioz and Schumann. Is there something else in France I am missing. Why is Spain ignored .There must be others. Too bad Norman doesn't do more serious 20th century .Her Bartok&Stravinsky eye openers for me decades ago!

  • My favorite version ever sung, love Jessye!

  • beautiful song and Jessye is an amazing voice thank you!

  • Thank you so much for this lovely song sung by this powerful and yet gentle voice, I love Jessye!
