  • I would say that part of the reason that there is a smaller jazz audience now is because of music critics and laymen that voice their ignorance through the judgment of another person's artistic expression. This music is not for everyone.

  • Hmmm... I'm not sure what you are referring to. There is a difference between practicing and performing. These lessons are intended for people that are trying to improve their overall musicianship. It takes a real musicianship to take any sophisticated harmonic concept and play it in a way that does not alienate the listener.
