Range? Caliber? Comparision against other armors? This is meaningless without context. I'm sure a 50 cal from 25 feet could easily penetrate dragon skin, but it wouldn't be very significant.

What a bunch of B.S. The army actually banned Dragon Skin months before they even tested it. Jim McGee, who designed the Interceptor body armour currently used ten years ago has gone on record saying that Dragon Skin is currently the best out there. Clearly, some at the company who makes Interceptor has some back room sweetheart deal with the government or the army.

need to start using something OTHER than ceramics.Mine was toast after that goddamn camel jockey lit me up,but like i said,it saved my life.Still, one more steel cored round such as the one i got hit with woulda finished me off.BETTER PLATES ARE AVAILABLE, REASONABLY PRICED, AND FAR SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY. WHY WE AREN'T USING THEM I HAVE NO F$C%ING IDEA!!!! Kevlar aint the problem if you ask me and until dragon skin works the bugs out of its armor,we should stick with what we KNOW works.

Cant comment on the video cuz,w/o being there, whos to say if its setup or not.u never know. What I CAN say tho,n i'm gonna go ahead n assume i'm the only person hear that can make this claim,is that the interceptor armor DEFINITELY works especially n conjunction with the SAPI plates.Got shot with a REAL russian AK-47 2 years ago in IRAQ TWICE n the chest n it saved my life.Personally,I think the kevlar n the interceptor needs 2 b IIIa at least(mine was rated at level II I think)n we DEFINITELY

to me it looks like a set up they never let you see before they strap on and so that hole could have been there if you look they pull the vest off and focus on the hole the vest is pulled away fast looks suspect to me what we need is a the video before they put on so we can see if there is no hole also show vest up close before you strap on jig j.i.c. then shoot and repeat on removal inspection ...

and another thing would love to see it go against stronger weapons for shits and giggles

I hope you're being sarcastic. Why would a country, especially the world's premier military power, have their shit manufactured in a country that's a potential adversary?
