@StuckInTheStargate lol same..when i did mine they gave me morphine [which didnt do anythign except stop me shaking] and gas [just made me feel out of it] something to not make me feel sick [i chucked uo straight ater] and some drug to relax my muscles...lets just say i was really out of it lol this was 2 weeks ago..still in a brace and cant walk =[

Laughing gas does not make anything better. It just makes it easier to lie still while awful things are happening... they did not give me enough...

Oh my god mate this reminds me so much of me, the Paramedics were giving me Laughing gas and it was Great! I didn't laugh I was just so High, I felt so good, relaxed and that is what took the Pain away! I am currently on Crutches and in a cast from Ankle to Thigh due to this dislocation. But the bad thing was after 1 minute of not taking the gas the pain came back.

When i dislocated my knee I had to get up and walk over to my house and get into a truck that the seat was about out to my chest when i was standing on the ground drive 10 mins to hospital walk in get on a bed and then do xrays and then the relocated with no pain meds

wow, you actually dislocated the knee, not the cap, I dislocated the cap and it hurt like crazy, I couldnt imagine the whole knee coming out of place! I am 21 years old, and my knee is the only serious thing that has ever happened to me *knock on wood* so the knee cap was pretty painful lol!

are the paramedics suppose to try and put a dislocated knee back in place? because when i dislocated my knee i had to rid 15-20 mins in the ambulance with it still being dislocated and they never gave me anything to manage the pain alittle. and they never tried to even relocate the knee or whatever you call it.. they never looked at it till i got on the ambulance.
