Once the battle of the Pelennor was over, the only way Men could help Frodo was to draw out Sauron's forces. For the only way to defeat Sauron was to destroy the Ring, and Frodo had the Ring.

Those left of the people of Rohan and Gondor made their way to the Black Gate of the Enemy. After a while, it opens, and the Enemy comes pouring forth, encircling the Men. The Men, now acting as one, under the one banner of the King, under Aragorn's command, charge into the heart of the enemy. The enemy cannot hold back their charge, but soon the Nazgul arrive to assist and strike fear into the hearts of the men.

Two things then happen. One is the eagles come to attack the Nazgul's mounts, and second, Sauron is alerted to the presence of the Ring so close to the fires of Mount Doom. Sauron calls of the Nazgul to Mount Doom.

This song highlights the final struggle of the Men, as well as Frodo and Sam's final climb up Mount Doom with grand splendor.

  • Is there a full song of the theme that starts at around 0:30?

That part returns a lot in LOTR and I really want to know what's it called.

Sam: "Then let us be rid of it, once and for all! C'mon Mr. Frodo, I can't carry it for you.... but i can carry you! C'mon!!"

  • @TeamSugarGliders that motif is spread throughout a lot of the LOTR songs but 'The Uruk-hai' is a good one.

  • @jediking12 is that the full name cause im looking for it to but cant seem to find it?

  • @andrea82888 Perfect description :)

  • @TanBarbieGirlxox Exactly what it feels like. Peace when the world is dying, like a lone flower in a sea of despair.

  • @lombard605 It just sounds like the heavens are opening up in the midst of the end of the world or something. It's just phenomenal.

  • @TanBarbieGirlxox Exactly. This is also my favorite part. Ethereal melody.

  • No finale will ever be as epic and this!!

  • What instrument is used during 1:01-1:35?
