Extra throttle adjustment steps are necessary on cars equipped with this feature. Which is pretty much all turbo DSMs. Once the throttle linkage adjustment is set properly, the right way to remove excessive slop at the gas pedal on cars with cruise control is to make adjustments at the cruise box.

@xijdmmanix Well hey... that's where I started! :P But I never had the guts to boost it. I loved that car so much I bought another one "just like it!" My 5-star non-turbo wheels are from that car, it died in a parking space wearing the turbo swirlies. RIP.

hey i love your videos they are so helpful but is there a way to just link the petal right to the tb? i have an aftermarket wheel and i took out the cruise control lever and i was wondering if theres a way to take out the box and all that and just connect the petal to the throttle body? you should make a video on how to do that ;)
