SOUTH by Kid Ory's Creole Jazz Band, recorded in 1944 and released on this Crescent label 78 rpm record. Kid ory was instrumental in the revival of the old time jazz music in the mid-1940s. He was helped along by Orson Welles on his radio show, being the first nationwide radio program to feature jazz music the way it was played in the 1920s. AND, this is record is a BISHOP PRESSING. Bishop pressed records for lots of record labels. Enjoy!
