how do you get the half arc to become a face? it seems like the lines of the half arc, the vertical line and the horizontal half line are not connected, so the follow me does not work. how do you get the halfarc to have the solid white color?

Thanks, really helpful

Why is this video in a slide-s ow format? Why not just do it in full motion video? And if it's a tutorial, speak into mic rather than typing instructions.
At any rate, that is *not* a bowl. A bowl has an inner curvature to it.

Great video! I have been trying to learn this for days, you made it so easy!

Nice dude. Just ran into sketchup and found it lots simpler than 3ds max but more practical without all the maxs complicated issues..,just simple but still powerful. Love it

Very cool tutorial...teaches us more than promised. There are so many ways to go about somethings in SU and this can only add to one's arsenal of tricks as I said in this case more than just how to make a dome. MTD
Google's help was supremely unuseful, but your guide did exactly what I wanted. Thanks!

your arc is too wide then, set the "bulge" smaller - no part of the arc should be higher than the center point. hope that's clear :)
