Here it is! A bit of a sneak peek of the future of Squirreland rides! As in the past, this coaster is named after my mother, who supports me on all the projects that I come up with. All that I have built so far is the one piece of track and started assembling the ride vehicle. Actually, I spent the week before this video was uploaded building the cart just so it could be debuted on this video! When the cart is finished it will look drastically different than all of the other cars that I've made up until this point. It will be different in three ways. Obviously the shape is significantly different, it will be covered with lightweight fiberglass as opposed to sheet metal where you will not be able to see any of the steel tubes from the outside, and it will have full back, neck and head support. When the track is done it will be in an "L" shape and over 7ft tall at the tallest point. It will be a complete loop but sorry, still no inversions. Another feature that I'm sure a lot of you will be excited about is that it will be powered by mechanisms instead of "1Human Power". Sorry, I wont give up exactly what that power source will be, and you'll just have to wait until its done to find out!!
On to some learning... Diana was the daughter of Jupiter and Latona, and the twin sister of Apollo. Diana was the perpetual virgin goddess of the hunt, associated with wild animals and forests. She was also a moon goddess, and an emblem of chastity. She was praised for her strength, athletic grace, beauty and her hunting skills.
So, with all that in mind, here are some explanations for the color scheme. The track is green, the supports are brown, this is to resemble the forest with the trunks and trees forming a canopy. The ride vehicle, when it is finished, will be purple with white stars resembling the night and stars above the treetops. Naming the ride specifically "Diana's Arrow" is reference to Diana being the goddess of the hunt.
For those of you wondering about the color choices for Thor's Hammer, there is no significance, it just looked cool.
I believe that that sums it up for now. Be sure to comment or message me. I love hearing all that you all have to say. Be sure to rate and subscribe so you can see when I get this ride finished!! Thankyou for all of your support!

COMPLETION DATE: Unknown. Due to lack of money it is uncertain when I will be able to finish this ride. However steel prices are coming down so who knows... I WOULD like have it finished by December this year, but that seems unlikely so it should be completed either December 2009 or Fall/Winter 2010. UPDATE: Due to the world economic troubles this ride will not be finished this year, maybe not even by 2010. Maybe not ever. I will try to finish it, but who knows what'll happen. I do have a few pieces of steel left over from making Malevolent Manor track that i am considering using it to make a piece of this ride. If and when I do finish this new piece i will post a video of it.

PS: NO. For those of you who didn't read it, or did read it but it didn't stick in your empty head, this ride will NOT have any inversions when its done. Sorry. Get over it.

TRYING TO BE SMART AND TELLING ME THAT THIS 3FT TALL HAND PUSHED ROLLER COASTER NEEDS AN INVERSION WILL ONLY GET YOU BLOCKED.

I WILL BLOCK YOU. I DONT CARE, I'M TIRED OF IT. YOURE NOT SMART. I'VE BEEN NICE, NO MORE.

SAYING "LOOP" WILL ONLY GET YOU BLOCKED. NOTHING ELSE.

  • Brilliant, another ride, I can hardly contain myself. Maybe this one could be pushed by 2 men so it will go even faster than Thor's hammer, yes even faster (I know this is a scary prospect but I think it may be possible!). Also like you say in your explanation I do hope you get it finished by 1010. That would be very impressive. The time machine you'd have to invent could be more interesting than the coaster, but probably not, especially if it goes round in a circle like TH, which is amazing.XXX

  • i dont get it. are you trying to be insulting or are you just retarded? anywho its obvious that you dont know how to read.

  • Umm YOU don't know how to read or tell time obviously because it says 1010 in your info... so correct it then act like it never said 1010. Then you can be snide.

  • you are correct. i did make a typo. thankyou.
