@DoubleFeo That's no coincidence, they're made by the same company and based on the same series. Renegade was originally released in Japan as Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun, a game about a delinquent named Kunio who goes around beating up gangs and members of other schools to avenge his friend they beat up. River City Ransom was originally Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari in Japan, and was about Kunio teaming up with his rival Riki (in RCR they are Alex and Ryan, respectively) to save Riki's girl.
