Improvisation in the scordatura: A E A C-sharp. Rythm=polska=3/4 or 9/8 or 9/16 divided in 2+4+3/16. This type of polska is also called Springlek or Jössehärspolska.

  • Aha. It is the tuning AEA C-sharp that associates to the devil or other supernatural beings as water sprite or the river man or Näcken as he is called in Scandinavia. In US there is the tune The hanged mans reel that have the same tuning and mostly the same melodic material.

  • i dont get it??

  • @cinnomonsinner

What don't you get. The rythm, or melody?

The rytm you can hear in the fottapping.
