I remember being five years old and seeing the huge tents up while they were filming; I would smile and try to see the actors.... It sucks because I'm in high school now and I never saw a single episode. :/

All I can say is, Thank God for DVD!! I just picked this up last week at the public library, and I do NOT wanna give it back!! I had never even heard of the program, even though I grew up (and still live) in San Diego, home of Imperial Beach. I am NOT a touchy-feelie or sappy person, far from it ; This show had me bursting into tears at LEAST once per episode...PURE PERFECTION!

The locals here in IB was so exciting and its sad it had to be cancelled...I remember how excited I was when I would see a landmark of IB in the episodes!

I miss this show terribly. If only HBO had the courage to continue. I've been watching my DVD's of the show and it's bitter sweet. So thankful for what we had and so sad it came to an end. If I had a wish it would be that HBO would just bring it back.
