Yea, this is just like I remember this tune from when it came out. I was just a kid. One of the best era's of rock that can't be duplicated and won't be. It's kind of funny, my kid who's 19 listens to all of this rock. Nice to see it didn't die.

Any chance you would post this entire album? Or, if not the entire album, at least the song Monkey Shine?
-
Would someone post Jefftown Creek either from this album or Flat As a Pancake or both?

The girl on the cover was married to Roger Boyd, the keyboardist. Don't believe their married anymore.

For me it was some roller rink in Arlington, TX w/ my older, "cooler" sister. John Nitzinger, a black rock guitarist & heir to Jimi Hendrix (and at that time could outplay Ted Nugent!) was the headliner, some podunk band from Oklahoma opened up the show & covered this one. Must've been '76 or '77. lol rock 'n' roll never forgets baby!

I saw Headeast with Montrose and Foghat in 1977 or 1978! I remember sneaking in a pint t of rum in the front of my jeans and wearing a long enough corduroy shirt to cover it! We could get away with it back then. Probably paid about $8.00 for the ticket. Love this song!
