Here in Washington state chem alone will not be enough for some roofs...High pressure air or low pressure/high volume (8 GPM) wash is the way to go so long you know what and what not to do, other wise its a filthy yellow and orange mess of dead moss. Granted in this video it looks like he is using low pressure and or low volume, If it were me I wouldn't get nearly as close and also keep a downward angle as to knock the moss off.
That's so wrong. That is the epitimy of how not to clean a roof. We use a 12v pump and a bleach based solution, no dead plants for 11 years (since we have been in business) we use LOW pressure not a pressure washer as seen in this video. Sorry for bashing.
That's a fast way to destroy a roof with a pressure washer no matter how low you set it. Try using a 12 volt pump with chemical instead. Just a word of advise from a professional to a professional. 11 years in the roof and exterior cleaning capitol of the country, Florida.

Pitchwitch recommends around 60 lbs of psi.

Very true. By choosing the proper chem all that is needed is a rinse from a garden hose or a gentle rain.
