That f'in wheel hop will get 'em every time.

No it did not. 460 stomped 454 as far as pulling, and longengevity. I have an old 460 79 Ford F150 that will rip your driveshaft out, and probably tear those little gears in the rear up to. Watch the 454 chevy vs ford 460 in clunkers, ford last longer.

@fasterthanyou22 yeah they the ford may not have that much power, but its a shame it got wrecked.

Damn did the Sierra have a 454 or 350? I can't tell if it's a 2500 series or not, but looks like a 1500. First I've ever seen that though. Hard to beat a good running GM engine

@fasterthanyou22 I will put meatloaf in my crank case gives my truck a extra thousand hp maybe some go fast stickers and change the muffler bearings no one will pull me around lol

AMAZING
1979 - 2011 = 32 YEARS is it still running ?

@countryboy77351 Check your ford facts. Ford came out with the 385 series (429 &460) in 1968. They did make a 429/460 in 1970. Hence the engine code DOVE-C. Although the first two years of the engine we're all 429's. The 460 was introduced in some special order applications in 1970, it came into full production in 1972. Do you know the difference between a 429 &460?
A guy at school told me if a truck drops it driveshaft, it means it has enough power to. It doesn't mean its a piece of junk. And why would a bunch assholes be persuaded into doing something as stupid as this. Now they just wrecked a nice '70 ford. People can say how shitty a truck is all they want, but I'm not stupid enough to do a burnout or tug of war, not matter what vehicle I'm driving or how much hp it has. Unless your these guys who think chevy's are the best thing in the world,WRONG

@kargmeister1337 well thats just cause ur a pussy little girl and i drive a 2000 7.3 f250 so... and yeah it dropped the driveshaft because its a piece of shit neither of these trucks in the video have power nor do they even know what power feels like

If i remember correctly you couldnt compare a 70 454 to a 70 460...why you ask? Cause the 460 didnt exist in 1970. Ford was still runnin the FE motors, (352, 360, 390, 427)...and sorry bowtie boy but even a good runnin 390 could eat a 454....

@countryboy77351 Compare any of the 454s to any of the 460s they are all the same basic engine just detuned as years go on. horsepower tv even did a test on the 454 and 460 with forged/billet internals, alum heads, and the works pretty much. The 454 made SUBSTANTIALLY hp and torque over the 460. and get your 390 trash out of here, no 390 is going to compete with either 460 or 454 with the same budget for modifications you hillbilly retard. n e way i own a ford that will drag ur shit backwards

nope the ignition coil in to ford went bad after this pull and it wasnt gettin any spark so it wouldnt run. or else 4wd was the plan. thats why the gmc had to tow it home.
fasterthanyou22 1 year ago
exactly, both trucks werent very powerful, it was 2 junkers bumper pulling and the newer gmc was more durable considering the age difference. This white GMC is now a 383 TBI stroker, TBI is holdin it back a bit but it is much more convenient in the winter months. but all that is nonsense anyway, im lookin to sell this truck and another car of mine and get a 24v cummins ram 2500. It will be much better suited for towing and what i need it for.
