This second and final video of Dundee Trams which i have decided to upload for your pleasure was originally for my website, hoolywoodproductions.com which is all about showcasing my hometown, Dundee, Scotland. excecllent vid. one of my Dad's first jobs was in Dundee, and he said he was in Dundee on the night they BURNED ALL THE TRAMS ! If I remember correctly he said that their bodies were made of aluminium, which apparently does burn once you get it to a high enough temperature. I guess its easy with hindsight, but to me it just looks like the stupidest decision to get rid of these - what with Edinburgh bringing them back etc

I can just remember the 50's. They were great days. Dundee was a busy,vibrant,bustling city and it was the centre of my universe.
I would walk to the ninewells terminus and get a bus into town...it was an adventure to a wee lad and there was only one team in Dundee then! They wore Dark blue.
