The thing is though , these buildings were not destroyed by fire , they were destroyed by 2 aircraft slamming into the sides of them ! I'll never believe this unless the americans build 2 exact replicas of the towers down the to very last office desk , and slam two aircraft into them . Nothing like this has ever happened before , so how would they know how the buildings would react ?

Everybody talks about the fire, what the gaping whole in the building? Can anyone answer what the impact of the whole was to the whole structure? Everybody brings up that no steel structure has ever come down from fire, however none of those structure were hit with a commericial airliner.

The reports say 5-8%. One of the engineers stated that it was build to withstand at least 10% missing support. The towers were build for redundancy, so (according to reports also) the 5-8% were quickly absorbed by the surrounding non damaged elements.

So how do you know exactly what a massive jet fuel fire half a mile in the air is suppose to look like? You can't really say that the fire looks odd when something like this has never happened at this scale to compare it to.

That's true. But I've seen planefires and such before. To me, something looks odd.

I deliberately didn't use interpolation or blurring between frames, which is why it appears as a slideshow.
I use slowmotion literally here :D
