Llan de Cubel - Cabraliega

Llan de Cubel are a celtic folk band from Asturias (Spain) which specializes in playing Asturian folk music.

Formed in 1984, the seven member group has been part of an overall revival and revitalization of Asturian traditional music. The band is a frequent participant in Celtic music festivals, both inside and outside of Asturias, such as the Festival Interceltique de Lorient. True to their effort to play authentic Asturian music, Llan de Cubel play authentic Asturian instruments, such as pipes, bagpipes, fiddles, accordions, and guitars, and the band has been known to conduct research into the music of that region.

There are many ethnicities/cultures in Spain, of which Franco tried to repress & deny their existence. Hitler couldn't even exterminate all the Jews, do you really believe that the Romans killed all the Celts (according to Franco era history books, I suppose). I don't know what Franco's ancestry was only that he was a murderous, fascist bastard & the reason that I was born in the U.S. instead of the Picos.

@asturiesinflames Pues mira, yo soy Cabraliego, Asturiano y sobre todo Español, con lo cual eso de Mas Asturies y menos España, sera para ud, en lo que amí se refiere, Mas Asturias y Mas España, no olvides que una de las grandes batallas de la reconquista, se libraron en las montañas de Carreña y las tropas Cristianas estaban comandadas por la mujer de D.Pelayo-Gaudiosa y por supuesto que Puxa Asturias, pero tambien Puxa España.

@mmedefarge Franco was galician, one of the most celticed parts of the penninsula, but this isn't important, Franco was a general of the early XX Century, like others countries of Europe the nationalism and the extremist ideologies of those ages poisoned his little mind (he wasn't intelligent and had no culture), and yes he tried to repress all of our cultures for decades, his idealized Spain as a catholic nation and his imperialistic ambitions sank our country into missery till his death.
