I agree, it's one of the most magical things that I have ever experienced. I remember having an apple tea in Istanbul while this played all across the city. You can't describe it to anyone, simply amazing and very touching.

I am really fond of this kind of music, it's like chillout, and by any means I'm not religious in any ways, so i simply like the singing and the message simply is "love and peace", and that truly is awesome.

its not really singing, when you this its like reading the koran but singing it....its verse by verse....the azhan is just telling you that its time to come and pray to allah and that he is all knowing and merciful.
but cool ya like it...it is deep =) then the music its set to is taksim...usually used in trance gatherings used to cast out devils and stuff.

This is a beautiful recording. I'm American and wish everyone could listen to this "call to prayer" and all pray for peace. I just returned from Palestine, my first visit. It is a beautiful country. My wish is for the Isrealis to give the occupied terrorities back to the Palestinian people and share this wonderful land with each other.
