Limewire Connection Problem - How To Fix

If your having problems with the connection status on your Limewire, e.g. there is only 1 green bar; this is a tutorial on fixing it for those of you who have Norton Anti-virus. This may be the cause of the problem! I hope the vid helps

Then that means your anti virus or firewall hasn't done anything to it (like blocked it or anything).

Well...

Check to make sure Limewire is aloud in your Firewall Exceptions, if that doesn't work then either your anti virus program is blocking it or you have a faulty Limewire.

Genius.. dude .. major props.. I was fighting with my computer for hours... you rock .. i tried everything, turning off my firewalls.. uninstalling AVG... nothing worked for me although you might want to put a video out on how to display folders that are hidden in Vista.. not everyone can get to that folder without enabling hidden folder.. over all Dope and really Useful video. Hours? For me limewire didn't work for atleast 2 months.

No one on YouTube had a video that shows them fixing Limewire the way it was fixed in this video, but someone did show how to get to the "Manage Quarantined Items" and what was in the folder, without him I probably would have never found this out.

Fuck yes i found it out how to get all full bars now, Follow all these steps.

1. Go to control Panel

2. Look for the Windows firewall

3. Click the fire and and press change settings.

4. Look at the tab where it says Exception and check off the Limewire and boot back the Limewire and download.

5. Turn the Fire wall back on again

same here but i have Windows XP and it doesnt work but it used to work on this same computer but i removed the program then i downloaded it again and it doesnt work now! plz help!! =(
