Ibrahim Samadov was the better athlete that day, he just weighted in 1/20 KG heavier and he finsined in three weight tie and finished third. However, Ibrahim Samadov had one attempt to win it all, and the greek fans disrupted him while he was lifting with flash lights and loud noises causing him to drop the bar. He did not think that the Greeks acted fairly, he refused his bronze medal and as a result was stripped and banned for life by the IOC. Samadov was a gold medalist that night.
