Bob McDonnell asks Deeds if he will be raising taxes

Wishful thinking Deepking! McDonnell won the debate by far. Poor Deeds didn't even have any signs up on the roads leading to the Homestead Resort... and that was his old district. Though, I did hear he had one homemade one out in a field made from hay stacks... McDonnell signs were everywhere.

Deeds looks so nervous and intimidated. I'm voting for McDonnell; he is by far the better candidate.

I just watched this portion of the debate without really knowing either candidate, and for these 4 minutes, McDonnell was by far the stronger candidate.

Geez, we are talking about Virginia here. Virginia has gotten a cr@pload of people moving in during the last decade. Of course we need to raise taxes. We need more infrastructure. If McDonnell is all into jobs, then he needs to propose jobs for people to increase the Metro line and stop sending jobs overseas! Companies should be severely penalized if they want to save pennies by going overseas when they should be employing Americans.

It's funny how you mentioned public schools. Our education system is failing due to teacher unions and the thought that more money will help when in reality, it doesn't. What helps is privitization. And I'd personally like to see the fire dept and police dept privitized. They would probably do a better job.

Walmart also allows more jobs and more oppurtunities for people. Besides, economically, there will always be a small buisness that will grow to become a large corporation. And Wal-mart was one of them.

I don't give a dman abt any religion. All religions have done is separated people. Religions are reponsible for the more human deaths than anything else in the world. I am so sick of everyone thinking how awesome their religions are.

To me, it looks like the Demcrat party is slowly getting more and more entitlements to workers. Pretty soon we'll get free healthcare. Then we'll get free food and housing.
