VicTorV joined Taproot at The Loft studio outside of Ann Arbor Michigan where the band was recording their brand new album PLEAD THE FIFTH. We caught up with them to ask a few questions about how their Victory Records debut was coming along and we caught a sneak peak at a brand new song, RELEASE ME.

i used to like their first cd a lot and saw them live at the astoria in london...then the band just collapse on their second cd....a drastic commercial change that killed the band and the new fans like me...i think the are good and have an original sound but something is definitely missing

i dont think its their heaviest album, its their heaviest since Welcome. its a mix of all their albums, its nice to see theyre going heavier, as the last album was very good but their worst theyve done, and with this new album, theyre right on form!!!

A tuning is the best out there, I don't think it's dropped A, however it may be..
