SPOILERS - this scene reveals what's troubling Gregory Peck's character John Ballantine.
the skiing scene originally was very long. Miklos Rozsa composed the score for skiing scene. Bu David O. Selznick didn't like Miklos Rozsa's score. So he trimmed skiing scene and used Franz Waxman's music score for the final car driving scene in Suspicion (1941) instead. I tried to add Miklos Rozsa's score to skiing scene. But I couldn't use many parts of Rozsa's music, because Selznick trimmed skii scenes. But I was able to use the music for the final scenes in skiing scene where John Ballantine (Gregory Peck) finds out the past that is troubling him.
Powerful dramatic score, adds a lot to the movie
