You're not supposed to to turn the fuzz knob down on a fuzzface, it has to be all the way up, otherwise you get MUD!!!! Just control the gain with your Strat's volume pot....It has to be a Strat, by the way, the Man knew it all those years ago....Also, coupled to an old Plexi style no nonsense low-gain amp but the true one , Marshall Super Lead 100 with at least one 4 x 12 cab! Amen!!
