It can cost you more than an old one to build a new one. Have a machine which is original and wring its neck. A good vincent will take almost anything you can throw at it and when you are dead your kids get a bonus because if u r like me it will only leave over my dead body!!

rather than having an old one, I'd like to build one out of Vincent Owner's Club spare parts- so i can ride it knowing I'm not going to destroy a piece of history. so i can make a run in Bonneville someday and know the most valuable things i risk are my bike and my life, not post world war 2 motorcycle history. of course, it would be expensive, and cost allot of time. i still have time to get rich though (I'm 17 too)
I'm glad it is possible to make a new one though.

Like I said, I have my Vincent and a 1970 Triumph Bonneville and I ride a new Harley Dyna daily. I don't consider myself a wannaB...more of an enthusiast with no brand bias.

Too bad about the jackass who can't see the thousands of good people who actually do in fact ride Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
Not a "real riders' machine" eh? You pompus ass.
Get out on the roads here in North America (Yes Canada too) and then say that.
Better to know nothing and stay quiet than open your mouth and remove all doubt...

As well as my VIncent and Triumph, I ride a FXDI SuperGlide as my daily rider.
I love my Harley.

Some lovely bikes my man!I can even forgive you for using that dumb hillbilly version of the song!Its good to know not all Yanks follow the herd and ride Harleys which as we all know is more of a "lifestyle" than a real riders machine!"Keep The Good Times Rolling" Ye`all!!

Yanks are from the United States. I am Canadian. Big difference.
We will have an even more impressive display at the 2008 SuperShow. Watch for the video in January.
