hmm does anyone know if releasing turtles that are sold from Asian food markets place into a local lake is considered safe? for both the turtles and the lake's ecosystem? i really want to release turtles into lakes but I"m afraid they can also mess up other species' habitat... =/. any suggestions?
but you shouldnet keep a wild turtle captive .... you shouldnt release pet turtles in to the wild because they carnt survive .... wild turtles will survive
That's a red ear slidder. Probably started out as a quarter sized pet. It's a female, probably going to lay eggs,,, why it was on the road, mystery solved.
what a cute turtle! It looks a little shocked from all the time on the road/ out of pond. Maybe that's why it's not swimming away the exact moment you put it in the water!
@vietboy482 don,t it will fuck everything up
