  • I don't give a sh-t if he was gay. This dude could sing this song and it was the baddest slow jams of all time

  • the rocking chair was special, what a move...........different move for sure, did not see that coming.

  • the lead singer ,named Tony Washington, and his brother Maurice who sings bass, thier dad was a special agent for the F.B.I.

  • wow, i never knew these cats were from DC? amazing. in high school, i recall hearing this song at the blue/red lights in the basement parties in Western Pennsylvania. This was a big hit, before soul music crossed-over into the Disco market. THAT WAS A GREAT ERA, quiet as kept. Before the CROSSOVER.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting them and talking to them because I am in themusic industry as well amd those were real entertainers and real music back then.I don't pass judgement on anyone. your life is your life for you to live however you want.

  • Definitely one of the forgotten Motown classics. Sick number. Very Prince-like before Prince! Tony Washington might've been a barrier-breaker, being an obviously gay man in an R&B world that had never seen such flamboyance at least not since Little Richard. Gotta give him credit for being so brave and ahead of his time in this respect.

  • The rocking chair Killed it!!!!!!...lol!

    real choreography!!!!

  • I watched this video at least once a month. The song is definitely Nick Ashford ( can almost see him singing it) Tony definitely laid it down . . . and that choreography is something you might see on Broadway (lol)

  • @errick63 sorry for the loss of your uncle - he was a gifted soul and i dont care what his sexual preference was - i am a lover of good meaningful music and this make me long for the good ol' days back

  • MAN THOSE MOVES ARE THE BOMB!!!!
