He won the race, my tip would be is to use the money he won and use that to repair the car. It would be a shame to see that work of art be thrown in a junk yard.

The car isn't that bad considering it flipped. Roll cage did its job and then some, it seemed to help keep damage minimal.
It's always in the back of racers mind why that cage is there, and it's good when it is there.

@TheGT5killer I agree 100% , i'm 44 now and have seen this happen. Back in the 90s we used to go down to French road in Detroit and watch 8-9 second cars run. Back then a 9 second car was real fast. Racing was usally good but you really had to watch the people around you , real bad neighborhood. The neighborhood shoot a cop trying to stop a race on Telegraph or Oakland ave one night. We always had a portable police scanner with us .Inpound was ugly, a lot of the car always came up missing !!

Short street to race on first of all second these two cars were made with almost all the stoping power in the rear he wasnt experianced enough for that car but any how thank god every one is ok

Yeah so, that is the exact reason you don't run 9 second cars on the street. That moron is lucky he didn't get killed, or worse, kill someone else. I own and run a high 8 second Camaro, and I can tell you I have NEVER been so irresponsible as to run that car on the street. I drive it on the street, but I drive it...I don't run it.
Bottom line is, people like this need to start putting their big boy pants on and keep it at the track.

@Gangrieksta LOL, what? It was a drag car, they're not built to "do corners" as are any drag cars modified from any manufacturer! I fail to see your comment relevant? Let alone the response you received from it!
