Here's a video about memory.

Did you know that memory doesn't actually work like a filing cabinet where you pull out old memories and look at them? You might think it does, but filing cabinets are made out of metal, and brains are made out of meat.

HOWEVER, brains do have some iron in them, so the analogy isn't entirely imperfect.
