This young woman just qualified and competed for the USA Junior National Team and now represents the US. She is an inspiration! Let's not kill her dream. She wants it and can have it!

Just beautiful. I pray we see you on tv at the 2012Olympic games.

@Sullengrl226 I'm sure she would train more, but considering the fact that she travels almost 20 hours a week too... that would be insaine

Go ALEXIS!!!! Keep on doing your thing. You will be the best!!!!
-
I truly hope that she'll be able to stand on the world stage one day.
-
Nice girl, but can't she do other turns? ;)
-
The highest level rhythmic gymnasts train about 35-40 hours a week like Dawes did, she will probably train more as 2012 gets closer.
-
In rhthmic gymnastics though you have to train in 3-4 apparatus, depending on your level. So it's actually the same thing.

Mikizzle15, 20something hours is fine considering her age (11 years old) when this video was made. 11 year olds shouldn't be training 35-40 hours each week in the gym. Older, elite rhythmic gymnasts DO train closer to 35 hours a week.
Alexis is very talented. I'm glad there are videos of her on YouTube.
