I am also wondering why they are giving you a Tac Officer before anything else. Sci and Eng Officers are rewarded at the end of the first missions, so I guess it's not that big of a deal after all.

@maddriver7 Me too, you use to get to select if you wanted an ENG, TAC or SCI in the tutorial. Not liking my choices limited there now.

doesn't auto fire make it so you only have to hit the space bar once and then the weapons with fire automatically until the enemy is dead?

Really enjoyed the video thanks, I started playing STO when it came out officially in early 2010 and played it for few months but not played for ages and I have not seen any of the new features or anything else since it went free to play. Was good to see what the game is like now compared to when I last played it.
