Anthony Venn-Brown Gay Pentecostal Preacher pt2

Anthony Venn-Brown is Australia's first openly gay Pentecostal. He was a leading minister in the Australian Assemblies of God Church before resigning his post after coming out. He currently attends Hillsong in Sydney.

He is the author of A Life of Unlearning which won the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association Literary award in 2004. The book was revised and updated in 2007.

In 2007 Anthony Venn-Brown was voted as being one of the most 25 influential Gay and Lesbian people in Australia.

Venn-Brown is a Co-founder and Convenor of Freedom 2 B[e]. The stated mission of Freedom 2 B[e] is to create a global network of GLBTIQ people from Pentecostal and Charismatic backgrounds that helps them resolve issues of faith and sexuality and creates understanding and acceptance.

In 2007 Freedom 2 B(e) gay Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians and their supporters marched in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras for the first time.

In part two of this interview Anthony talks about how he fell in love with a man and confessed his adultery infront of 800 people from his church before resigning his ministry.

He discusses how the church reacted to his homosexuality and talks about his autobiography A Life of Unlearning.

Anthony discusses the Bible's attitude towards being homosexuality as opposed to that of the church. You may surprised at what he has to say.

I love this guy as much as I love anyone else, but he is being completely fallacious in this video. He definitely forgot about the scripture that specifically speaks of how it's an abomination to set aside your wife and for a man to be with another man.

But heterosexual Christians too often promote those bad marriages by social pressure, put downs and in the past civil laws. Unwittingly those str8s are accomplices to the dishonest 'down low' subculture.

If a gay man or lesbian openly says I have no attraction to the opposite sex, they too often face public scorn from heterosexual Christians.

I left the fraud that is traditional religion decades ago and like always, 'honestly' never date str8 !

@myGodis1lord Thank you friend!! You know folks get the wrong impression of us who go against what these are claiming, I do not hate anyone! Not even this getleman who claims to be a gay preacher. If I hated him I would'nt say anything at all, I would feed him if he were hungry,clothe him in the winter,visit him in prison,and pray for him(which I already do) but I refuse to sit by and let them think they are doing Gods will while practicing an abomination! and not speak out against it.
