That's actually a better answer than I was expecting. I wasn't trying to stereotype anybody, the original motive of me saying that was to shoot down some homophobic rebuttal from someone else. I actually know some people in a similar situation to your friend, and yes discrimination does go in all directions and should not be tolerated.

ALL of discriminations you mentioned can come from a person from ANY sexual orientation, ANY race, and ANY gender. My friend (a white male) who worked in fashion industry told me how he was being discriminated by his GAY boss & colleagues when they found out that he has a girl friend. Actually I was surprised when he told me that he's not gay. :D
Don't stereotype straight white male or others, please...
