An abandoned mother cat, with three kittens, is badly injured. Her eye is popped out, external to the socket. She still nurses her three kittens, inside the locked up house where she once was "owned" before being left behind. She remembered me, however, from when I'd gotten her spayed, and saw me through the window of the house. I was able to call her out through the hole in the foundation. She also brought out her kittens to me.

  • Another example of why you shouldn't let your cat run wild.

  • @Sondan1988 This is a reason alcoholics and drug addicts should not have cats or kids. Nothing more.

  • Thank you for your compassion. You saved their lives and made them worth living. You are a special person.

  • @Theveryanoyingorange Yes, that had to be so hard on her, trying to care for kittens so badly injured. A mother's love and devotion is incredible. She lives a great life now. Hope's owners e-mail me all the time, send me photos. She really deserved a good pampered life after what she went through. Thankfully she got a great home.

  • @Catweedhigh Oh well i hope the kittens got a nice goodbye to their mom

  • @Theveryanoyingorange Her eye was removed and she eventually got a home, and often travels with her owners now.

  • @Catweedhigh Your kind, but what happend to their mother?

  • If you got her spayed before how come she had kittens?

  • @Fancytuna1 It's hard on them!

  • @Catweedhigh Oh i see, sorry. Can't imagine what would they do with the ear mites in wild life.
