View in the shack of the HAM radio station DL3RTL in Berlin. OP Daniel demonstrates the equipment: A Kenwood TS-430s is used for SSB on shortwave in combination with a Lingua digital audio QRM filter. A Yaesu FT-817 with ETM-5C/Vibroplex "Champion" is used for CW. The FT-817 I also use for satellite operation, Yaesu FT-290R as backup as well as the Bosch KF-160 with Peiker microphone. A Kenwood R-600 is used on a self made frame antenna of one squaremeter for Long- and Mediumwave reception. There is also a radio controlled UTC clock, a weather fax receiver MR-9202 from Wraase and the K-240DF headset from AKG and the antenna rotation and controle unit.
