In Episode 2 of Project-JK's, The Moab Experience, we pick things back up soon after JeepCacher breaks his rear drive shaft on the Steel Bender trail. With a big thanks to Northridge4x4, we're able to get the drive shaft replaced and continue our way to the end of the trail and well into the dark. The next day, we take a trip up the Gold Bar Rim trail and head over to one of the most famous destinations in Moab, the Golden Crack. Thanks to a late start, we again found ourselves having to do some tough wheeling well into the night.

  • what were the gauges for in the corner of trailbuds jeep? aftermarket tac? or something else, there were four if i recall

  • @BullShark16 i know that one is for engine temp and transmission temp but i don't recall what the other two are.

  • Hey guys. Just wondering, what kind of mileage are you guys getting on the highway with the 3.8?

  • @skidplate003 depends on which jeep you're referring to. our big white one running 40's is getting about 10 mpg but our orange one running 37's about 13 mpg. others with smaller tires are getting more.

  • Is that a stock driveshaft or a lightened thin wall or something. I've seen Coke cans with thicker walls than that driveshaft. Not exactly confidence inspiring

  • @fpvhunter yeah, a stock shaft. most of the folks in our group run aftermarket.

  • what spare tire carrier/ rack on the white4 door rubicon

  • @tallzdatank ive owned that and a grand cherokee and never in the video i saw a place i couldent fit even if i couldent i could just go around i mean i love jeeps first car was a grand cherokee im just saying that got all this money and there on 3s go big or go home

  • how much did u spend on ur rig wayalife

  • @tallzdatank we don't purposefully go out night wheeling but, there are a lot of times that you just can't help being out after dark. as far as gold bar rim or golden spike goes, it's harder as finding/staying on the trail is hard enough in the day time.
