This is my 1st question I asked John Dallapiazza, he is with Bella Energy, Recorded at SunFest 2008 in Denver.

SolarDave: Solar System Size For 750KW Hours/Month?

John Dallapiazza: The general accepted formula the National Renewal Energy NRL database called PV Watts and that predicts that one kilowatt of optimally oriented solar electric will generate 120 kilowatt hours per month.

  • Why doesn't anyone in any of these videos talk about storing the power, i.e. batteries?

  • ummm... New to this stuff, and It just sound like a bunch of numbers that didn't mean a thing to me. Grrr... Why can't you just get a pro to do a video that says..you need X amount of this certain solar panel to run a 2300 sq ft home. And it will roughly cost you ___ amount of money. And you will not have an electric bill to pay anymore.

  • so for dummies, which system does an average joe go for? a model # would have helped. lol

  • is this a good paying job???

  • 120 kwh per month = 1000

    6kw system needed

120 per 1 kw of solar electric

    133 per kw of photovoltaic.

  • Excellent info!
