Your voice is so fucking annoying, trying yo sound like a typical reporter ..

The Artist??? Really??? Bullshit. How the fuck a silent movie wins ANYTHING in 2012 is completely beyond me. These awards are totally fucking meaningless as far as I'm concerned. The really great movies ignored by the academy. Fuck the academy!

All these movies SUCK!

Andy Serkis should win but alas he wasnt nominated

Most predictable Oscars in years unfortunately. The Artist and The Help are going to win most of the of major awards it looks like. Moneyball was my favorite movie of the year, of what I've seen. It has little chance for anything other than maybe editing.

MOneyball is a GREAT MOVIE

War Hose was actually a very good movie, I enjoyed it a lot. It's kinda sad to see the results, though, a movie like this deserves more, box office wise and award wise. At least the Academy has some sense (some, mind you, who KNOWS why they nominated Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close...)

In my Opinion Tree of Life was the best film of the year! Love it or hate it you've gotta admit it got people talking and thats what all the best movies do! I also really liked Moneyball , Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close as well as the help! Personally i disliked War horse and the descendants as i thought they were pure oscar bait and they bored me to tears ( Snore horse) Although i admire spielburg for making a film like this i just didnt like the film. Yes I'm Team Tree of Life!

Moneyball. Even though it's very targeted at baseball, it's very sentimental and teaches us that money doesn't matter. This is great for people who need to hear it.

Well...I think audiences responded indifferently to War Horse because it really was not that great. It is a well made film, but I think it really missed out on the emotional core. It just tried too hard. Not a bad film, but it is definitely lucky to have a Best Picture nomination.
Love the show Grace, I watch every episode! Quick question, albeit a little unrelated to the Best Picture Nominees. How do you feel audiences will react to Billy Crystal hosting? I mean, I am 18 and have seen Forget Paris, City Slickers, etc. but will those younger and more ignorant of his films find him satisfying as a host? I feel as though the Academy strays farther and farther from the mainstream, if not younger (aka under 40), demographic each year. Some of these noms show that. Thoughts?

@MrSamMagus Thanks for the nice comment, and good question! Yes, I feel that Billy Crystal works so little these days that he's now only a slight draw for viewers. I don't think the host has to ACTUALLY be young, Alec Baldwin got people excited although didn't deliver - they just have to be current. So in short, I agree with you! :)
