  • Obviously this is still theoretical since, otherwise we would have been shown a real working model.

  • This is a proven technology which is technically mature and now reaching commercial maturity. A range of both magnetic gears and PDDs have been manufactured and tested examples are shown on our website. Peered reviewed technical papers on the technologies are also published in leading academic journals.

  • what happen if the car come to a bump?

  • we have to discover how to use magnetic field of Earth, then try to levitate the copper into the space

  • and you can spin it to the speed of light. this is where new engine bearing mechanics emerge

  • this reminds me of autostereoscopic 3d displays, how they use a parallax barrier similar to how this motor uses the ring of ferromagnetic material blocks

  • wikipedia states that this technology is now commercialy available. is this true? if so, where can i get me some?

    i am especially interested in a bicycle-scale motor/CVT.

  • I think I understand this magnetic gearing principle now. it's a moiré effect because the iron pieces only conduct samples of the outer magnetic ring.

but it seems to me that for an electric motor there is no advantage to magnetic gearing as it is more weight efficient to simply drive the final axis directly.
